When David Ademilua joined us at Gowling WLG at the iconic Two Snow Hill building in Birmingham as a kitchen porter last year, we knew that he could be nurtured and developed. From his first day in the kitchen he showed a keen interest in food preparation and service. With guidance and mentoring from our head chef, Dave has gained enough confidence and experience in the kitchen over the past year to leave his KP role behind.

In 2015 he was appointed commis chef, with responsibility for the vegetable section within The Loft Restaurant. Since his promotion, Dave has excelled in the role, gaining fantastic feedback from customers on his salad bar creations. Dave has never had any formal chef qualifications but now hopes to study for an NVQ in Professional Cookery in the near future.
