Sous Chef (Leicester)

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sous Chef to join a team, who produces outstanding food using the finest and freshest ingredients.  The role is based  in Leicester.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to become our new Sous Chef. You will join and work along the Head Chef to head up a talented team of Chefs.

You will be responsible for the daily operation in the kitchen, the preparation and the cooking of all dishes.

As our Sous Chef you will;

  • Be a responsible, dedicated and strong leader with the ability to manage of brigade of talented chefs across restaurants and functions.
  • Have the ability to train and develop your team supportively and professionally.
  • Deliver consistent food standards, following the Wilson vale brand standards, also adding additional flair to the conference and banqueting offerings.
  • Have fresh and current menu ideas and can show flair in your work
  • Have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a high standard hotel or Conference Centre

The site offers breakfast and lunch, including hot meals, homemade soups and homemade desserts. There is also a bar menu running in the evenings which must be fresh and within the current market.

This is a full time position, working 5 days out of 7, 40 hours per week. A degree of flexibility is required to cater to the needs of the site.
