We are looking for an enthusiastic Sous Chef to join our team at one of our sites. The role is based at a school in Stockton on Tees. We are a contract catering company that provide a fresh food service; serving seasonal, modern food to a high standard. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative person who has great attention to detail to help the team provide innovative fresh food daily to serve lunch for up to 250 students. Lunch includes hot main meals, homemade soups and grab & go cakes. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent craft skills, be flexible in their approach and able to work on their own initiative. The ideal candidate will; Have a can do attitude Be organised and flexible Have a good standard of culinary experience Confident IT skills Experience in managing and organising a team daily This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 3pm, 36 weeks of the year, term time only. A degree of flexibility is required to cater to the needs of the school. A full DBS check will be required prior to commencement of work.
