An exciting opportunity has arisen to become our new Sous Chef based at one of our schools in Wirral. We are a contract catering company that provide a fresh food service; serving fresh food to a high standard. We are looking to recruit a reliable, hardworking individual to join and head up a talented brigade, catering for up to 250 students per day. As our Sous Chef you will; Be responsible for the daily operation of the kitchen and the preparation and cooking of all dishes. Be responsible, dedicated and a strong leader with the ability to manage a brigade of talented chefs. Be able to train and develop your team supportively and professionally. Deliver consistent food standards following the Wilson Vale brand standards. Deliver fresh, seasonal and innovative food from around the world to the students. Be able to interact and engage the students with the food being served. This is a permanent role, working 52 weeks of the year, 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7. A degree of flexibility is required to cater to the needs of the school, which may include some weekend hours.
