From the onset of the covid-19 outbreak, our business and indeed the wider industry has been through some incredibly challenging times, with one key objective throughout….survival. We could not be more grateful for the hard work and support we have received from our amazing team, from our cherished clients, from our suppliers and everyone associated with the business.
The glimmer of good news is that we are now emerging from the worst of the pandemic and we are in relatively good shape. Whilst survival remains very much on the agenda, the dominant narrative is now around recovery, which has unquestionably created a more positive environment as the year comes to a close.
Moving into a brighter 2021, our primary focus as part of the recovery phase is to help the employees that we had to lose from our team to get back to work. To kickstart this process, we have created KIT Works, a dedicated online resource full of practical information and advice for Wilson Vale employees who we sadly lost from our team last year. KIT Works gives access to CV workshops, interview coaching and signposts expert well-being support and financial advice. Exclusive early access to view and apply for new Wilson Vale roles is also provided through our new priority job search and alerts service. The guidance, workshops and training have all been developed to give skills, information and confidence to those looking for alternative employment.
There is little doubt that we could not have developed our business without the skills, passion, enthusiasm and dedication of our hard-working teams. We are committed to supporting and staying connected with those who we lost as a result of the pandemic and we hope that the future allows us to welcome people back to the Wilson Vale team and that we can continue to provide valued employment and exciting career opportunities beyond the impact of a challenging 2020 and well into the future.
