Carolyne Vale, co-founder and managing director, started her career with a HND in Hospitality Services from Birmingham University and progressed from trainee manager level to relief chef and then moved into operations. She was director of operations with Nelson Hind and regional managing director with Avenance.
In 2002, she established Wilson Vale with Andrew Wilson. It’s an impressive career progression story but what is truly inspirational about Carolyne is her ability to see potential in people and bring the best out of them. Responsible for the operational side of the business, she has an impeccable eye for detail and continues to take a hands-on role. Carolyne is a member of the Women 1st Top 100 Most Influential Women in Hospitality listing and was named one of the top 200 most influential people in Leicestershire.
