We did it! We are thrilled to announce that on Friday 15th September we successfully completed our Wilson Vale team hike to the top of Kinder Scout, the highest peak in the Peak District.
We embarked on this challenge to raise funds for FareShare UK and are immensely grateful to each and every one of our supporters who helped us in surpassing our donation target and raise £2,000!
Turning food surplus into HOPE.
FareShare UK are a trailblazing organisation that stand at the frontline in the battle against hunger. They intercept surplus high-quality food that would otherwise be discarded and channel it to nearly 8,500 charities and community groups across the nation. This invaluable resource provides sustenance to nearly a MILLION people every week.
We were also able to support the Peak District Mountain Rescue, with every member of the hike team receiving a Kinder Scout patch to mark their achievement and of which a portion of the cost goes directly to the rescue organisation.
